This client is looking to hire a lawyer on an interim basis initially for 6 months (but this may well be rolled on) to join their EMEA Legal team based out of London.
What will the role involve?
- Support the review and negotiation of agreements and legal documents with clients (e.g. investment management agreements (IMAs)) and business partners (e.g. distribution agreements);
- Advise on licensing and client regulatory issues across EMEA jurisdictions in coordination with Compliance;

**About this role**
BlackRock Climate Infrastructure (BCI), formed in 2011 as BlackRock's first private infrastructure strategy and managing over $11 billion of committed capital, is seeking an Associate to join its global team based in the London office. The Associate would mainly work on its flagship developed markets strategy - Global Renewable Power and Renewable Income funds
This position will play a key role in driving the execution, oversight, asset management and divestment of direct equity investments made into climate infrastructure. The candidate assumes a multi-faceted role which requires a passion for climate infrastructure investments (i.e. renewables, BESS, EV, T&D, etc.), energy experience, and strong analytical and conceptual skills.
**Responsibilities include**
+ Financial Modeling: developing, utilizing, and analyzing financial models to evaluate investment opportunities.
+ Portfolio Monitoring: assist in the monitoring of portfolio companies and assets including analysis of corporate development, financing opportunities, analyzing budgets and performance, interacting with key members of management, ongoing interaction with our technical teams, and positioning business to be prepared for exit.
+ Support project leads in preparing quarterly reporting, IC memos, and material for internal and external discussions

Entity Management:

- Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fund administration – preferably within an investment management or PE environment or within a service provider supporting clients in the investment management/PE sector.
- Have a sound understanding of fund structures, opening, closing, client onboarding and of the associated regulatory and compliance requirements
- Be familiar with both UK based funds and (preferably) offshore jurisdictions (eg Luxembourg, Jersey/Guernsey, Cayman Islands/BVI)
