Skills and Experience:

li>Level 4 Health & Social Care qualification (or SCQF Level 9 in Scotland), or willingness to work toward it.  li>Proven experience supporting people with learning disabilities.  li>Experience leading teams and managing service delivery in a regulated care setting.  li>Knowledge of safeguarding, health and safety, and care regulations.  li>Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.  li>Confidence in using digital systems (e.g. Excel, care planning software).  li>Flexibility to travel locally and work across multiple locations. 

Desirable:

li>Experience in coaching, mentoring, and managing change.  li>A full UK driving licence with business insurance.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to provide leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and support and mentor home managers and staff. Your expertise will directly influence both the quality of care and the operational success of each home.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, and manage teams to deliver exceptional resident care aligned with the organisation's vision and values.
• Recruit, train, and mentor care home managers and staff, fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture.
• Oversee financial and business performance, including budgeting, reporting, and identifying growth opportunities.
