Job Introduction

We are recruiting for a Service Advisor to join our Land Rover Dealership in Droitwich. The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 18:00 as well as working Saturdays on a rota basis.

Basic salary up to £28,000 plus benefits with bonus OTE of £37,000.

• Perform complex diagnostic procedures on engine management systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brake inspections, tyre rotations, and fluid checks.
• Carry out major repairs and component replacements, such as engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and suspension work.
• Interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic trouble codes to identify and resolve vehicle issues accurately.
• Maintain accurate and detailed service records, documenting all work performed, parts used, and time taken.
• Advise customers on the condition of their vehicles, recommend necessary repairs, and explain technical issues in a clear and understandable manner.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies, repair techniques, and industry best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior technicians, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a qualified automotive technician.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic software and electronic service information systems.
• Strong understanding of automotive electrical and mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• A valid UK driving license.
