You will partner with teams across Product Management, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service (to name a few), in addition to our external vendors, to ensure Quality data and regulatory compliance are embedded into our decision-making processes, resulting in a reduction in the overall financial exposure relating to quality and further reaffirming our brand credibility.

What you’ll be doing:
Quality Assurance (Proactive):

Data analysis and insight:
- In partnership with Operations/Customer Experience Leadership, analyse replacement and refund data to identify the rate of issues on a product and category level (the “fault rate”) and whether there are new products/trends requiring attention
- Analyse the financial impact of replacements and refunds relating to product quality, identifying drivers of this cost (e.g. product mix, AOV, process non-compliance) and associated improvement opportunities
Lead Quality & Compliance strategy:
- Develop the overarching strategy, covering everything from website and post-purchase comms through to warranty details and manufacturing enhancements
- Lead the project management of Quality improvement across the business, ensuring there is ongoing focus on the top opportunity areas (e.g. plating, product design improvements) and that agreed actions are executed
Regulatory Compliance & Testing
- Ensure compliance with all relevant UK, EU, and international regulations governing jewellery, including REACH, Nickel Directive and other applicable standards.
- Develop and implement a robust product testing and certification programme
- Act as the main point of contact with external testing laboratories and regulatory bodies.
- Keep up to date with legislative changes and emerging standard, advising senior management on implications

- Champion ethical sourcing, sustainability, and responsible business practices throughout the supply chain.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with the company’s ethical trading policies, including supplier audits, social compliance checks, and materials management.
- Drive sustainability initiatives aligned with industry best practices and consumer expectations.
