Senior Surveyor – Property Asset Management (Genuine Asset Management)

£55,000 + Bonus | London (Hybrid)

I’m recruiting on behalf of a market-leading UK property management business with a formidable track record of managing prime assets for institutions, pension funds, landed estates, and private investors. Known for consistently paying some of the biggest bonuses in the industry.

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join their Central London team.

What makes this role stand out? A large portion of the management fees are ring-fenced to the asset management side, giving you genuine involvement in lease renewals, rent reviews, break negotiations, and value-add projects. You’ll work directly with fund managers and senior stakeholders on high-profile institutional portfolios.

The Portfolio

• Primarily offices and industrial estates
• Small amount of retail, with potential involvement in a shopping centre
• Assets held by a significant pension fund

Key Responsibilities

• Manage office, industrial, and retail assets to the highest standard
• Deliver lease renewals, rent reviews, and break clause negotiations
• Attend client meetings with fund managers, providing performance updates and strategic input
• Oversee facilities and on-site teams, ensuring compliance and excellent customer service
• Collaborate with ESG, Technology, Customer Experience, and Procurement teams to add value
• Manage service charges for efficiency and transparency

About You

• Commercial property management experience
• MRICS preferred but not essential
• Strong client-facing skills and commercial acumen
• Comfortable working 4 days in the office (1 day WFH)

• Lead Complex Audits – Take ownership of large and listed audits in the asset management sector, bringing FTSE 250 experience to the team.
• Provide Technical Oversight – Advise on complex areas including private equity, private credit, infrastructure valuations, IFRS 9/13, and fair value assessments.
• Shape Audit Strategy – Design risk-focused audit approaches tailored to complex group structures and diverse investment vehicles.

What You'll Bring:

• Professional Qualification – Fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CA or equivalent).

This is an excellent opportunity if you are an experienced Asset and Property Manager and are looking to take on additional management responsibility to progress your career. Training and coaching will be provided if you choose to become an APC mentor/councillor as part of your own progression. In order to be successful for this role you should ideally be an MRICS Surveyor and have a proven track record working with commercial property. I am partnered with a superb West End Property Company, in their search for an Asset Manager at Managing Director. The role will focus on prime offices, life sciences, industrial and more. You will work in partnership with the in-house development team, optimising value across a range of assets.

About The Role

Investment Analysis & Execution

• Analyse and underwrite potential acquisitions and development opportunities for seniors housing.

Asset Management
