Job Description
You will supervise and control all aspects of meal production, ensuring that all food is prepared in line with budgetary guidelines, client requirements, and statutory regulations.
This includes managing kitchen operations, overseeing food safety practices, and leading the kitchen team to maintain the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely service of meals and services to meet company standards and client satisfaction.
- Plan, coordinate, and order all food requirements according to client needs.
- Follow standard recipes and production planning to accommodate client numbers.
- Implement current food trends and ideas to enhance the service offering.
- Ensure meals and services comply with agreed budgetary standards and costs.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in all kitchen areas at all times.
- Understand the operation of all kitchen equipment and train staff to the required standard.
- Supervise, train, motivate, and manage staff performance.
- Liaise with staff and clients to ensure appropriate staffing levels are met for day-to-day operations.
- Manage all ordering processes and ensure nominated suppliers are used for relevant supplies.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quality Chef.
- Expertise in preparing fresh food.
- Experience in healthcare or contract catering (preferred).
- Food Safety Hygiene qualification.
