Job Description
Join us at Legal & General as our newHead of Legal Operations , where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Legal & Governance division. Reporting to the Deputy Group General Counsel, you’ll lead strategic initiatives that enhance operational excellence, financial discipline, and technology enablement. What you’ll be doing:
- Acting as a strategic advisor to senior legal leadership
- Designing and delivering a legal operations strategy aligned to business priorities
- Overseeing legal panel and vendor management to ensure value and efficiency
- Leading the implementation and optimisation of legal technology platforms
- Managing internal communications and departmental events
- Developing talent and resource strategies, including paralegal deployment
- Enhancing knowledge, document and records management across the division
- Driving financial oversight and reporting to support cost-effective legal services

- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex projects
