Are you passionate about helping young people thrive? Join an Ofsted-rated Good college where you’ll provide dedicated one-to-one coaching and engaging personal development sessions to help students achieve their goals and overcome barriers to learning.
The Role:
As a Success Coach, you’ll:

Provide individual coaching and pastoral support to help students stay on track
Deliver engaging group sessions focusing on personal development and employability skills
Work closely with curriculum and wellbeing teams to promote student engagement, retention, and success
Identify and respond to the needs of diverse learners, including those with SEND and at-risk students You will need:

GCSE Maths and English (essential)
Sound knowledge of student engagement strategies, personal development coaching, and safeguarding principles
Experience working with diverse student populations, including SEND and vulnerable learners
Strong understanding of barriers to learning, social mobility, and inclusion
Excellent communication, motivational, and organisational skills What’s on offer?

Salary of £21,09 – £2 020 per annum (Pro Rata – 40 weeks a year) / FTE £2 378 – £2 601

Role Responsibilities

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold a minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy (Essential)
  • Hold a minimum L3 qualification in relevant subject specific area (Essential)
  • Ability to speak fluent Welsh (Desirable, not essential)
  • Have experience in the relevant vocational area, or within a similar role
  • Have experience of working within a prison, further education or training setting
  • Have a recent track record of effective delivery in the subject specialism
  • Commit to fulfil delivery targets and plans, including achievement of KPIs
  • Achieve quality targets, including those related to retention and achievement
  • Produce accurate and timely reports
  • Provide a positive contribution to establishment planning & development processes
  • Demonstrate positive team working
  • Actively contribute to Novus Cambria's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of learners and staff
  • Actively contribute to Novus Cambria's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of learners and staff.
  • Actively contribute to the principles of Equality and Diversity within the prison.
