Duties and Responsibilities
Operations
- Ensure timely despatch of all finished goods for both internal and external clients via their preferred MOT, coordinating/booking all transport/couriers, ensuring all required documentation is produced and distributed as needed.
- Provide updates on the status of all open shipments for B2B/B2C customers and the expected fulfilment date.
- Ensure all stock is dispatched/received/processed through the ERP/SWAP system and fully aligned with Shopify where relevant.
- Coordinate the collection of finished goods from 3rd party vendors, ensuring all documentation for customs clearance, IPS Forms, HS commodity codes, COO statements, supplier commercial invoice are available in a timely manner.
Returns Process
- Coordinate GT’s returns process via ERP/SWAP, and monitor/report.
- Prepare Commercial Paperwork for overseas repairs into the UK on a regular basis.
- Liaise with Wholesale/Collab clients to organise the collection via courier of the return of the goods.
Planning
- Monitor and enforce compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality control and accuracy of inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as Procurement, Finance, Retail etc., to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfilment.
- Oversee inventory management and conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient warehouse practices to enhance productivity and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, including productivity metrics, inventory levels, and order fulfilment rates.
People Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the despatch team, including picking, packing, shipping, and receiving.
- Train and develop team members on proper warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team and address performance concerns through coaching and mentoring.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
