A leading engineering and manufacturing business in East Kilbride is looking to add an experienced Machine Operator to their team. This is a hands-on role working with a range of conventional machinery, with a particular focus on horizontal boring operations. What You'll Be Doing:
- Operating a range of machine tools, with a key focus on horizontal boring
- Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings to machine components accurately
- Working to tight tolerances, ensuring high-quality output
- Using lathes, milling machines, drills, and other manual equipment
- Measuring and inspecting your own work to maintain standards
- Assisting with process improvements and standard procedures

What You'll Need:
- Experience as a Machine Operator or similar in an engineering/manufacturing environment
