You’ll play a key role in preparing the management accounts on a monthly basis for all 4 of our companies. Taking responsibility for implementing and adhering to best practices and control processes.
This is an ideal role for someone who is confident with numbers, eager to drive improvements, and thrives in a changing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Production of monthly Management Accounts within a 10-day period for all companies
Manage the month end process inc. accruals and prepayments
Full balance sheet reconciliations each month inc. advanced ticket sales creditor, cash in transit balances, and bank recs.
Investigate differences on balance sheet and resolving
Fully reconcile Intercompany balances on a monthly basis.
Produce schedules for audit and be key contact for auditors.
Produce financial statements in collaboration with FD.
Lead and develop the Accounts Assistant, HR Admin, and PL Assistant and assign work
Posting of general journals
Assisting and producing analysis for budgets and forecasts
Produce data for Operational finance meeting with other departments
Review payroll hours being sent to the external payroll provider and produce a comparison from last period for FD sign off.
Review and sign off on VAT return
Processing of reimbursement for cash expenses cover
