In this hands-on role, you’ll support the smooth running of the site by delivering both reactive and planned maintenance across a range of production and ancillary equipment. You’ll also take ownership of maintenance records, create PPM schedules, and ensure all data is accurately captured and reported in a timely manner. As a key point of contact for contractors, you’ll oversee safe systems of work and ensure all documentation is in place. With a strong focus on health, safety, and food quality standards, you’ll play an active role in identifying risks, improving processes, and supporting operator training to build equipment knowledge across the team.

The Role

The Person

Ideally you will hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline and proven experience in the precision engineering sector.

• In-depth knowledge of CNC machining including milling, turning processes and associated tooling considerations.
• Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), material properties, and machining dynamics.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and production planning software.
