Our client is a fast-paced e-commerce business seeking a talented Marketing Data Analyst to join their growing marketing department. This role is crucial for driving data-informed marketing strategies and optimising campaign performance across all channels. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting marketing data to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and provide actionable insights to the marketing team. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a solid understanding of marketing principles. You will play a key role in enhancing customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-driven decision-making.

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing metrics and KPIs.
- Measure the performance of digital marketing campaigns (e.g., SEO, PPC, email, social media) and provide insights for improvement.
- Identify trends and patterns in customer behaviour to inform marketing strategies.
- Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimise campaign elements and user journeys.
- Collaborate with marketing managers to set campaign goals and evaluate their success.
- Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for the marketing team.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing analytics tools and techniques.
- Assist in the segmentation of customer databases for targeted marketing efforts.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, Google Analytics, and data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
- Good understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign performance metrics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
