About The Role

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for tactical planning, execution and reporting of all guest-facing communications across the Seaport and the businesses owned within it. This role’s key objective is to drive top-line revenue for our businesses through a mix of always-on and initiative-specific messaging.

Responsible for campaign execution across web, email, social and paid channels encompassing the full portfolio of SEG’s owned businesses at the Seaport in New York City. Additionally, this role oversees the tracking & reporting of marketing campaigns and oversees external agencies charged with driving low-funnel consumer actions. This role manages the Marketing Manager, Communications team, and Social Media team guiding and supporting them as they execute initiatives for all business channels.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, problem solving, prioritization and collaboration skills, working across multiple unique disciplines including creative, social media, external agencies & partners, sponsorships, legal and IT. It requires an in-depth knowledge of best practices, new technologies and analytics/reporting to show revenue driven through marketing initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Constructing and executing tactical plans to drive awareness, traffic and revenue to all owned businesses at the Seaport.
  • Seamless execution of guest communication strategies across multiple channels including email, web, social and paid media
  • Manage external agencies, ensuring they are aligned with strategic priorities and executing against them within agreed upon KPIs
  • Establishing and documenting best practices and tools known to drive revenue and reach our goals.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills, rallying teammates and partners behind established strategies and driving execution of those strategies
  • Prioritizing work across the team to optimize towards projects with highest revenue potential.
  • Ensure data compliance across channels, working with legal and IT.
  • Identify and coordinate any internal/external resources required to execute established strategies, building a financial case for those resources.
  • Leading and developing a team of marketing professionals.
  • Responsible for department Quarterly Marketing Calendar and execution of ‘always on’ initiatives launching campaigns to drive consumer action.
  • Build/reconcile and manage spend against Business Unit marketing budgets.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • 5-7+ years of relevant experience in marketing & communications
  • Experience leading a team and cross functional collaboration preferred
  • Strong critical thinking skills, with the ability to build tactical plans that execute against business objectives
  • Proactive and flexible to meet the needs of a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of tools & platforms needed for execution of communication across channels (CRM, web platforms, etc.)
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Wordpress and SevenRooms is ideal
  • Expert in prioritization and agile working methodologies

Compensation range: $110,000 – $30,000

Job description

We're looking for someone who can lead the delivery of integrated marketing and communications campaigns for HMRC-across low-cost/no-cost and paid channels. In this role, you'll also take ownership of a holistic, connected always-on search strategy (covering both SEO and Paid Search) that supports all our campaigns and ensures people can easily access the information they need, whenever they need it.

You'll be working closely with internal digital teams and external agencies to make sure everything is optimised, evaluated, and continuously improved.

There are two core elements to this role, including:

Integrated Campaign Leadership:
  • Planning: Lead and co-ordinate key marketing paid for campaigns from end-to-end, working with Communications Business Partners to understand business objectives, and seeking input from specialists across the Communications Directorate and agencies to effectively plan marketing campaign.
  • Delivery: Oversee the delivery of integrated campaigns across paid for channels, supported with low cost/ no cost. Using data to optimise the campaign to drive greater effectiveness.
  • Evaluation: Leading post campaign evaluation against business objectives, calculating ROI and providing key learnings.
  • Leadership: Leading a team (at least two direct reports) a group of agencies and virtual project team to plan, deliver and evaluate campaigns.

Connected Search Expertise:
  • Develop holistic always on connected strategy for Search that goes beyond the traditional search engines and considers places where customers search for data (including blogs, YouTube, etc.)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in search strategies, encompassing both Paid Search and SEO, to optimise how HMRC customers discover and access information and support resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement in search performance through data analysis, testing, and implementation of best practices.


Other responsibilities:
  • Overseeing running of virtual project teams, ensuring effective collaboration across different expert teams (Digital, PR, External Affairs, etc.).
  • Developing a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Acting as an adviser on marketing campaigns content and delivery.
  • Work with internal stakeholders across HMRC, wider government, external agencies and campaign partners to ensure effective and integrated communication campaign delivery.


Person specification

The successful candidate for this role will have:
  • Proven track record of successful marketing campaign delivery: Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and measure the impact of marketing campaigns across various channels, including paid, owned, and earned media.
  • Experience in developing data-driven search marketing approaches, including multi-channel search strategies.
  • Strong agency management skills: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with external agencies, such as creative, media, and other agencies, to deliver high-quality work. This includes the experience in inspiring agencies through clear and concise briefings.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities, solve problems, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Results-oriented: Proven ability to deliver high-quality work on time and achieve measurable results.
  • Collaborative team player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues and external partners.
  • Effective communicator: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Essential Criteria
  • Strong experience in delivering paid-for marketing campaigns across various media channels that delivered tangible business results.
  • Advanced paid search and SEO marketing experience in complex, content-rich environments, including developing sophisticated search strategies across Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other new and emerging platforms.
  • Proven experience in leading, managing, and motivating teams and agency partners (incl. creative, media planning and buying agencies) to drive desired behaviour change
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex challenges proactively.

Desirable Criteria
  • Previous experience in government or public sector digital marketing.
  • Qualifications in digital marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Experience with accessibility-focused digital communication strategies.
  • Certification in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or equivalent professional digital marketing credentials.

**What you'll do:**
**The Segment Content Marketing and Campaigns Manager** has global responsibility for developing the segment positioning, integrated marketing strategy and associated demand generation activities for the Data Centers segment. This is a pivotol role that will work closely with commercial leaders of the segment, business units, sales and field marketing organizations to design and develop integrated marcom campaigns that help position Eaton as a thought leader and preferred partner on the most important power management challenges facing customers. This role will drive measurable and significant improvements to customer preference for Eaton and demand generation for strategic revenue-generating products (hardware, software and services) and will achieve these objectives by delivering tailored and engaging content to support customers, as well as Eaton sellers, at all stages in their buying journey. This role will leverage regional and local input in the development of the campaign strategy and work closely with field teams to drive campaign activation and optimization.
**Main Responsibilities:**
+ Differentiating Eaton with an integrated marketing strategy that build engagement and trust between Eaton and its customers in that segment across all relevant geographies.
+ Development of integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand generation for strategic revenue-generating offers (as defined by segment strategy teams) in the segment (hardware, software and services)
+ Developing the campaign content and audience engagement strategy, as well as GTM approach (working closely with all relevant commercial and CoE leaders)
+ Leading development of the segment message map and buyer journey maps (including definition of scenarios)
+ Orchestrating development and continuous data-informed optimization of integrated campaign journeys
+ Measurably contributing to the achievement of the segment growth plan by supporting buyers across each stage of their buying journey with highly relevant and useful content - accessible both through self-serve digital channels as well as the content used to support customer-to sales agent engagements
+ Defining campaign success metrics and the review cadence with all contributing teams to ensure demand generation objectives realized and continuous optimization of campaign results and customer engagement metrics
+ Working closely with field marcom teams to constantly optimize campaigns based on all available engagement data.
+ Overseeing the identification of all required sales enablement materials for both direct and indirect sellers so they are able to effectively convert demand generated by campaigns.
+ Accountability: Campaigns this role develops must support and be aligned to Eaton's strategic growth objectives for the segment they are responsible for supporting (rigorous standard planning process will be followed to ensure buyer needs at the center)
+ Field marketing collaboration: Essential to closely involve field marketing in every stage of the process to ensure strong alignment and regional/local relevance of all integrated campaigns, field marketing experience a plus
+ Data-informed: Build and optimize campaigns using a data-informed approach at all times
+ Agile: The Segment Content Marketing leader will act as Product Owner of a Scrum team and as such will be responsible for ensuring an agile, customer-centric working methodology adhered to in how the team operates
**Qualifications:**
+ Minimum bachelor level degree from accredited institution
+ 10+ years of marketing communications experience
+ Industry experience from Data Centers
**Skills:**
+ Team Leadership experience
+ Knowledge of agile/scrum; integrated campaign development; storytelling; message map creation
+ Customer/market focus, change leader, business acumen
**This is a remote role with a global exposure and can be performed anywhere in EMEA.**
