About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Director to provide leadership, vision and strategic direction for one of the UKs most exciting and dynamic Engineering consultancies as we continue to grow and strengthen our position in the industry.
This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives on helping shape and deliver business strategy.
You will be responsible for leading and inspiring a comprehensive and experienced in-house the team, while working closely with the Founders and Board Directors to define and implement strategies that enhance our profile, reinforce our values and drive meaningful engagement with clients and partners.
With proven experience in delivering high-impact campaigns, websites and brand initiatives along with making sure the day-to-day is world class, you will bring both creativity and commercial acumen to the role. A confident and strategic thinker, you will be comfortable challenging ideas at the highest level while remaining hands-on and involved in delivery.
Above all, you will be a completer-finisher, able to turn vision into reality and ensure every initiative adds value to the practice.

Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy: Develop, articulate, and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for SFB and its sister companies, NowBen and LabClub, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and growth objectives.
- Marketing Campaigns: Translate strategic vision into actionable marketing plans, campaigns, and initiatives that drive reader acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- SFB Day-to-Day: Execute and optimise our day-to-day running of the business, including sending email campaigns, and social media content.
- Salesforce Events: Support the Events Leader in growing the events business, ensuring each event has a proper marketing campaign attached to reach required goals.
- Website: Work alongside our Platform Owner to ensure the website is optimized for user experience and drives continuous audience growth.
- Data and Analytics: Establish and lead a data-driven marketing team by defining KPIs, measuring campaign performance, and continuously optimizing initiatives based on insights.
- Lead the Marketing Team: Lead and mentor a team of marketing specialists, ensuring clear goal-setting, performance evaluation, and professional development.
- Establish Cross-Team Partnerships: Work with the Content, Sales and Services Delivery teams to ensure marketing initiatives align with SFB’s North Stars.
