Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday 07:00–15:00, with cyclic late and Saturday shifts
We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Maintenance Tradesperson to join our client’s Estates, Environment and Facilities team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a dynamic environment maintaining mechanical systems across a large and diverse estate.
Your Role
As a key member of the Maintenance Team, you will:
- Carry out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance on systems including AHUs, pumps, ducted systems, and pressurisation units.
- Respond to critical plant breakdowns and perform hands-on remedial actions.
- Conduct routine inspections and complete PPM tasks.
- Support emergency and contingency procedures.
- Participate in a shared call-out rota and flexible shift cover.
What We’re Looking For
- City & Guilds Certificate and/or Mechanical Craft Apprenticeship.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in building services or mechanical installations on large estates.
- Knowledge of L8 Legionella management and Health & Safety in occupied premises.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Desirable: PASMA/IPAF certification, BMS fault-finding skills.
