A Specialist School near Calne are seeking a dedicated Graduate to join their team as a Mental Health and Behaviour Support Assistant. The school caters for children aged 4-16 who face social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges, including attachment disorders, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem.
Many of the pupils have experienced adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and therefore struggle in a mainstream environment. In this role, you will be supporting a small class of 5 to 10 pupils, collaborating with the schools teaching team, therapists and support staff to deliver specialist education and interventions that aim to boost the students' learning, personal development and emotional growth.
As a Mental Health and Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:
- Encourage academic progress and provide emotional support.
- Manage and respond to challenging behaviours caused by SEMH needs.
- Identify individual needs and triggers, and help guide students to overcome obstacles.
- Promote positive decision-making, reducing anti-social behaviours, and increase academic performance through trauma-informed practices.

**What does the role involve?**
As a Dialysis Assistant you will be working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will:
+ Look after individual patients, preparing dialysis equipment for treatment, monitoring vital signs and assessing, cleaning and redressing catheter sites as required.
+ Liaise with patients, their relatives and other visitors to the clinic.
+ Ensure that **equipment** is kept clean and supplies are well-stocked, safely stored and used efficiently.
+ Keep documentation up-to-date.
+ Administer medication when required.
This is a full time role of 37.5 hours a week. Current days are working various shifts Mon - Sat between 7.00am - 11.30pm.

An Alternative Provision in Swindon are looking for a Graduate to join their team in September as a full-time Mental Health/Behaviour assistant. You will be supporting students aged 11 to 18 with mental health needs and behaviour challenges throughout the school day, helping to support them socially, emotionally and academically.
As a Mental Health/Behaviour Assistant, you will be providing both 1:1 and group support in the classroom under the guidance of the class teacher. You will help the students develop appropriate social and emotional skills whilst fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment. You will play a crucial role in the students' education, providing them with a positive role model that they can trust and model their behaviour on. This will help them to thrive post-education and live independently when they leave school.
This is a fantastic opportunity if you are a recent graduate looking to gain experience working with difficult behaviour and mental health. Equally, if you have considered a future in criminal justice or youth worker, this will grant you with the skills needed by working hands-on with challenging behaviour and hard-to-reach students. You will also have networking opportunities with teachers, therapists and psychologists on-site at the school.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 7 Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN) for an on-going agency project focused on military / veterans mental health. The successful candidate will provide an outpatient, occupationally focused community mental health service within their designated Area of Responsibility, supporting military personnel with complex mental health needs.
Working as part of a dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), the postholder will manage a complex caseload, conduct comprehensive assessments, provide clinical supervision, and contribute to the development of high-quality mental health services.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality, outpatient-focused mental health care, including therapeutic interventions aligned with NICE guidance.

Lead in the organisation and delivery of high-intensity interventions, training, and health promotion within the community mental health setting.

Independently manage a complex caseload of military personnel, ensuring individualised, flexible care packages.

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and follow-up reviews.

Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical and electronic records in accordance with professional standards.
