The Microsoft Co-Sell Specialist is responsible for leading & owning the end to end co-sell referral process within Softcat. This includes building & maintaining a strong relationship with Microsoft - Softcat's largest vendor - to drive pipeline opportunities & accelerate partner-led growth.  The role is pivotal in aligning Softcat's sales motion with Microsoft's “Always on” co-sell strategy, and ensuring seamless collaboration between both organisations.

As a Microsoft Co-Sell Specialist, you'll be responsible for:  

  • Building and integrating the co-sell referral process into Softcat's CRM, aligned with Microsoft workflows.
  • Delivering against co-sell metrics and providing strategic insights to refine execution.
  • Managing referral activity from deal creation to closure, with clear reporting and analysis.
  • Facilitating strong seller relationships between Softcat and Microsoft to boost opportunity conversion.
  • Articulating Softcat's value to Microsoft, positioning us as a trusted partner across key service areas.

  • Experience working with Microsoft or a similarly high-calibre channel partner in an alliances or sales role.

The role is for the most part primarily focused on the provision of proficient 1st to 3rd level technical support, covering the support of areas such as (but not limited to) comms cabinet management; client devices (hardware/software/OS); WAN; LAN; telephony; WLAN; servers; compliance (AV/WSUS); power (UPS/ATS etc); all within wider Corporate governance. As such the role requires an acute technical awareness, demonstrating a keen ability to embrace emerging and proven technologies whilst at the same time retaining an understanding of legacy systems and their subsequent dependencies within Kuehne & Nagel.

To provide technical support and guidance on all supported systems.
To play an active role in supporting the user base, team members and colleagues.
Build of new client devices to support device replacements, and new starter handovers.
Complete asset sanitisation of leaver or replacement client devices in accordance with our policies.
Take a lead on project work within the team, helping to manage and co-ordinate deployments across our user base.
To ensure that systems availability is maintained in accordance with established service levels.
Management and ongoing updating of TOPdesk call queues in accordance with agreed SLAs.
To work collaboratively across the UK and Global IT departments to share the required knowledge and tools to enable the business to function.

Demonstrable experience in a similar environment is expected
Knowledge of standard client device support and configuration including those which are used in non-administrative business operational environments and knowledge of standard service systems device support and configuration, including data and systems recovery
An understanding of modern network topologies and technologies including commercial telephony systems as well as fundamental awareness of hardware and software security tools; including RF/Wireless device lockdown; patch management and endpoint analysis
Knowledge of current standard applications and specific IT Infrastructure application support processes required to enable the business function
Strong communication skills at all levels and a strong customer focus u2013 see the customer (user) as a priority

We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to manage and support all IT Services and infrastructures across multiple sites in a diverse geographical location u2013 based from our London office, youu2019ll be covering the London area of the UK. Our IT department supports Kuehne and Nagel nationally and is critical in keeping our business moving. As a Technical Support Engineer, youu2019ll offer a dynamic approach in a proactive-reactive service oriented environment.
