About the team: Join a collaborative team of Business Analysts supporting innovation across the UKI, EU, and international markets.


About the role: This position will work with one or more Business Units, supporting multiple assigned projects aimed at delivering IT solutions and services that meet company cost, quality, and strategic targets. The role will predominately focus on gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes and requirements, researching best practices, and identifying and documenting process improvements and functional specifications.


Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and document current and future business processes and requirements.
  • Support the development of system specifications, workflows, and transition strategies.
  • Assist in creating clear and user-friendly technical and functional documentation.
  • Contribute to the design of tools and solutions that meet evolving business needs.
  • Follow established protocols and quality standards during solution development and deployment.

Requirements:

  • Experience documenting business processes and identifying improvements.

The Role


The Senior Business Analyst leads the Operational Performance Team based in the East Midlands. The team is responsible for monitoring the real time performance of the company’s power generation portfolio, planning, scheduling and dispatching a team of over 200 field-based staff and producing high quality reports and operational analysis to enable the continual optimisation of their processes. This high-profile role will see the Head of Data Analytics work closely with senior leaders and regional operations teams to ensure the smooth day-to day operation of the business and identify, develop and deliver improvement projects that will improve performance and create additional long-term value.


Candidate Suitability


Ideally, suitable candidates will have the following backgrounds:
