We are looking for a motivated and driven Strategic Account Manager who has managed accounts within the public sector/NHS to join our growing company and be a key driver in Sustainable Energy First reaching its goals. You’ll be partnering our clients, overseeing the strategic client relationship and taking ownership of the Client experience. An expert at building, developing and retaining long term key Client relationships, you’ll be expected to communicate & demonstrate Sustainable Energy First’s values as a Consultancy whilst having the gravitas to build trust professionally and credibly at the highest level, achieving a mutually beneficial outcome for both parties. You will be the main point of contact for an assigned client list, acquiring a thorough understanding of the clients’ needs and requirements and you will propose commercially beneficial solutions that meet the clients’ business objectives and changing utility and energy demands through contract renewals, up and cross selling. This is a part service delivery and part sales role.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring Sustainable Energy First delivers an outstanding customer experience overall
- Main point of contact for an assigned client list, acquiring a thorough understanding of the Client’s needs and requirements
- Proposing commercially beneficial solutions that meet the client’s business objectives and changing utility and energy demands through contract renewals, up and cross selling.
- Ensuring the correct Sustainable Energy First products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner and with the first-class service Sustainable Energy First is proud of
- Expand the relationships with existing customers engaging through all possible forms of contact, from meetings to weekly calls
- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by Clients by ensuring the correct teams manage it through to resolution
- Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
- Drive product development and innovation
Requirements
- Strong motivation and drive to contribute to company goals
- Experience of account management in the public sector ideally within the NHS
- Expertise in managing strategic client relationships
- Experience in the energy industry
- Ability to oversee and enhance the overall client experience
- Proven track record in building, developing, and retaining long-term key client relationships
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey Sustainable Energy First’s values as a consultancy
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and credibility in building trust with senior clients
- Capability to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and clients
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
- Results-oriented with a focus on driving success for both clients and the company
- A full, driving licence is required and national travel is part of the role

Based on a large PFI healthcare contract covering 5 sites, you'll be working for the FM company that manages the lifecycle fund, while another company delivers Hard FM.
You will have overall responsibility for technical compliance, leading on the technical disciplines that relate to building infrastructure and mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Developing lifecycle plans, be familiar with CIBSE coding, asset management and be solutions focused.
You will work closely and collaboratively with the other FM business to identify assets that might need replacement, interrogating where necessary their maintenance and PPM regime to ensure they've been maintained in line with HTM's, HBN's, O&M guidance, manufacturers guidelines etc.
You will work with the PM's to validate and approve elements of the lifecycle scheme proposals including technical assessments and solutions, whilst maximising opportunities when developing lifecycle schemes, for example decarbonisation works.
Preferably with an Electrical background in a PFI environment, you will be Chartered or willing to become Chartered with previous AP appointments held in healthcare. You will also have knowledge of mechanical systems and associated compliance.

EMS Healthcare is recruiting for a dedicated team of Public Health Ambassadors to play a pivotal role in engaging with the public to encourage them to take part in an important and exciting health awareness campaign.
Working as an integral part of the Outreach team at EMS Healthcare you will be responsible for engaging on the ground with the local community to create awareness, inform and educate people on the key elements of the campaign, encourage and drive participation through survey capture and signpost individuals to where they can find out further information.
This role will involve working in and around the localities of Lancashire and South Cumbria, days and timings to be agreed and may include Saturdays. The project will run initially for a 5-week period starting week commencing 15th September 2025. A three day training will commence WC 8th September and will be located at EMS HQ.
Reporting into the Outreach Project Manager, your key responsibilities will be to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer across Lancashire and South Cumbria through direct communication with members of the public. You will have a passion for face-to-face communication and the ability to connect with people from within the targeted cohort demographic, driving awareness and engaging with the campaign.

Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre, Preston, Chorley and South Ribble, Pennine Lancashire, Morecambe Bay & West Lancashire
Requirements
Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop a strong knowledge of the subject matter to be able to confidently discuss with and provide information to the target cohort (full training will be provided).
- Approach and engage directly with the public to create awareness and increase participation through survey capture
- Answer any questions that may arise and where required signpost for further information.
- Actively engage with the target cohort to drive participation across the key groups.
- Encourage people within the target cohort to engage with the campaign.
- Signpost members of the public to correct access points as directed by the campaign messaging.
- Be enthusiastic & polite in all communications.
- Take a proactive approach to each working day and be able to assist with any operational circumstances that could arise on the day.
- Communicate verbally in a positive and professional manner.
- Undertake regular liaison with the Project Manager, providing feedback and completing weekly reports throughout the duration of the project.
- Work with the Public Health Ambassador to deliver the campaign to meet the agreed project KPIs.
- Encourage patients to attend GP appointments if worried about symptoms through enthusiastic, clear and concise messaging.
- Perform administrative duties as defined within the campaign protocol.
- Maintain equipment accountability (iPad etc. as required).
- Any other reasonable task as requested by your line manager.
Experience
- Experience of working within a healthcare or medical environment or brand is desirable but not essential (full training will be provided).
- Experience of performing a similar public facing engagement role.

Working Hours
Eight hours per day, four days per week, may include Saturdays.
