Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Lead to oversee and manage community nursing services in Leeds, West Yorkshire, UK . This is a crucial role focused on delivering high-quality patient care within the community setting. The role involves operational management, clinical governance, and team development.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, manage, and inspire a team of community nurses and support staff.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care within the community.
  • Develop and implement care plans, monitor patient progress, and provide direct patient care when necessary.
  • Oversee staff training, development, and performance management.
  • Maintain clinical excellence and ensure adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage rotas, resource allocation, and budgets effectively.
  • Liaise with GPs, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.
  • Participate in clinical audits and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
  • Handle complex case management and provide expert clinical advice.

Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
  • Significant post-registration experience in community nursing or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent clinical skills and a strong understanding of community healthcare needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement processes.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical judgments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
