An international healthcare company is seeking a Nursing and Phlebotomist Clinic Manager to oversee the management of Patient and Phlebotomy Services at their Central London site. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader to deliver and continually improve a high-quality, patient-centred service within a CQC-regulated environment. 40 hours per week, working mainly Monday – to Friday 9.00 am – 5.30 pm and occasional Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Patient Reception and Phlebotomy Services, providing supervision and support to reception, phlebotomy, and associated staff.
- Ensure services meet statutory, regulatory and internal guidelines, maintaining compliance with CQC and other healthcare standards.
- Oversee all aspects of patient safety, service quality, and infection prevention and control.
- Manage patient feedback, compliments, complaints, and incidents, ensuring effective investigation and resolution.
- Take responsibility for departmental budget planning, cost control, and identifying efficiency improvements.
- Oversee recruitment, training, development, and performance management of staff, ensuring a highly skilled and motivated team.
- Ensure premises and facilities are maintained to the highest standard in collaboration with facilities and housekeeping teams.
- Report on performance, quality, and patient experience to senior leadership and relevant committees.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Healthcare qualification.
- Experience working within a CQC-regulated healthcare environment .
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a minimum of two years’ experience managing phlebotomy or patient-facing teams.
- Budget management experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage patient complaints effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to produce reports for senior management.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in private healthcare .
