Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Lead Industrial Process Engineer to spearhead automation and control initiatives within their manufacturing facilities located in London, England, UK . This senior role involves the design, implementation, and optimization of industrial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety through advanced automation technologies. You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, providing technical direction and mentorship. Key responsibilities include analyzing existing production processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing comprehensive automation strategies. Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications

Key Job responsibilities:
- Drive complex new site designs and legacy site upgrade designs from planning to execution, including automation integration.
- Lead and drive technology integration and standardization in WW-wide programs and products, owning all complex layout integrations and optimizations in the assigned Delivery Stations.
- Influence and manage senior stakeholders to drive efficiency improvements and innovation in the network
- Provide process expertise on engineering design defining complex material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements and real estate implications from process requirements

A day in the life
You will lead end to end design for new delivery stations and work to improve existing delivery station processes. You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, some of the internal stakeholder include operations, design and construction, launch and expansion, and safety.
You will produce best in class layouts for new launches, optimize the existing stations and present to leadership for approval. You will work on automation program to integrate new technologies into legacy stations.
You will lead projects to create mechanisms to improve the stations and come up with innovative solutions to the complex design issues.

International Card Services (ICS) brings together our International Consumer and Small & Medium Size Enterprises (SME) issuing activities, as well as our Commercial Large Market sales and account development teams. **How will you make an impact in this role?**
The objective of the Process Management function within ICS Risk & Control Management is to fully understand our business processes, identify applicable policy requirements, and facilitate the documenting and implementing of front-line procedures. This will help ensure that we perform suitable management of our risks, through the delivery of appropriate mitigating controls.
As a Manager within the function, you will:
+ Work across global markets and business units, liaising with and managing stakeholders of varying experience and seniority, and promoting the goals of the Process Management function;
+ Source and leverage resources (both written and people) to comprehensively understand how each process operates end-to-end;
+ Identify applicable policies, and conduct gap analyses between policy and existing procedure documentation;
+ Conduct and support workshops to challenge findings and assumptions, in order to validate As-Is and To-Be policy and procedure implementation;
+ Formalise findings into proposed procedure documents, driving and ensuring further control implementation as appropriate;
+ Prepare and present executive summaries for senior leadership review and approval;
+ Manage business and function priorities to drive timely completion and delivery of output.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Significant experience in operational risk management (e.g., within Controls, Risk and/or Internal Audit function), understanding critical operational risk management lifecycle activities;
+ Strong programme/project management, communication, and interpersonal skills;
+ Experience in process governance, establishing and overseeing robust decision-making processes that align with policies, regulatory frameworks, and/or operational standards;
+ Ability to build working relationships with key business stakeholders and business SMEs.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Risk Mgmt., or related field (advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, MSc) or certifications are advantageous)
