Key Job responsibilities:

Drive complex new site designs and legacy site upgrade designs from planning to execution, including automation integration.

Lead and drive technology integration and standardization in WW-wide programs and products, owning all complex layout integrations and optimizations in the assigned Delivery Stations.

Influence and manage senior stakeholders to drive efficiency improvements and innovation in the network

Provide process expertise on engineering design defining complex material flow, conveyor positioning, equipment requirements and real estate implications from process requirements

Lead complex strategic and innovative initiatives and identify project opportunities to improve the processes and stations designs, engaging and influencing their senior key stakeholders.

A day in the life

You will lead end to end design for new delivery stations and work to improve existing delivery station processes. You will work with multiple internal and external stakeholders, some of the internal stakeholder include operations, design and construction, launch and expansion, and safety.

You will produce best in class layouts for new launches, optimize the existing stations and present to leadership for approval. You will work on automation program to integrate new technologies into legacy stations.

You will lead projects to create mechanisms to improve the stations and come up with innovative solutions to the complex design issues.

Basic Qualifications

Bacheloru2019s degree in Engineering (any discipline) or foreign equivalent

5+ year experience in a similar management role, ideally in an industrial, logistics or production/manufacturing environment.

Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma

Project Management skills including large-scale engineering project

High level of written, verbal skills.

Languages required: English

Masteru2019s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Logistics

In this role, you will be part of the Energy Transition Process team developing innovative solutions to complex problems, delivering projects at various stages of maturity. This is an ideal role if you have exposure in the delivery of concept, FEED, and detail design work and are familiar with working for an OEM, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor, or a similar organisation. Your experience of working in operations and maintenance (O&M) and understanding of asset integrity processes and procedures would be advantageous in helping us support our clients with technical advice on their existing facilities and operational plant.

**You will head the team to deliver the following:**
- Leading the Process engineering team on projects to deliver technically excellent solutions to our clients across a broad portfolio of projects.
- Work on projects in a variety of stages of maturity, including feasibility studies, concept designs, FEED Studies, value engineering and detailed design. There will be opportunities for site work during project development, construction and commissioning.
- Prepare process models / calculations, process datasheets, heat and mass balances, process flow diagrams, piping & instrumentation drawings and process philosophies.
- Generate and maintain internal tools and calculations.
- Providing visible technical and team leadership and governance.
- Developing designs and approaches that clearly differentiate WSP from our competitors.

A day in the life
Your day could include engagement with all levels of the organization and multiple stakeholder groups to drive short, mid and long term decisions that have large-scale impact across the AMZL network. You will use our internal tools to produce capacity calculations and varying levels of granularity and generate insights for operational and strategic decision making. You will work independently but as part of a team with similar responsibilities for other regions/topics. Your scope will alternate between a single country and WW, depending on the topic at hand.
About the team
The AMZL WW Process Engineering team partners closely with AMZL Operations and support functions to identify, design and develop best-in-class process infrastructure and process layouts, and to deliver them as AMZL network standard infrastructure. To enable this, the team supports prioritization of regional and WW continuous improvement initiatives in addition to cross-regional benchmarking. Irrespective of home location, all team members work on a mix of regional and WW initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline - Experience in a planning or analytical role, ideally in industrial, logistics or production/manufacturing environment - Experience in building and innovating processes - Proven Project Management experience - High level of written, verbal and interpersonal skills
