- Establish DataOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, data quality frameworks, and operational monitoring for data platforms.
- Implement data governance, security, and cataloging frameworks to ensure compliance, lineage tracking, and controlled access to data assets (e.g., DataZone, SageMaker Unified Studio).

 The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant (Security) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing security expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle

 The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant (Security) to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You'll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing security expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle
Our technical Security Consultants to help our customers build comprehensive security models, transform how they secure their sensitive workloads and develop their technical expertise.
Our security consultants deliver architecture guidance, develop security infrastructure and patterns in code, lead proof-of-concept projects, and conduct security workshops for customers. AWS security consultants collaborate with customers to address security and compliance challenges, and they help implement and migrate customer solutions and workloads onto AWS.
Professional Services engage in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed with helping our customers succeed. We collaborate across the entire AWS organisation to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.
This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to UK client locations (3-4 days on customer site per week) to deliver professional services to our customers.
UK Government Security Clearance is required for this role ( UK Nationality is required for this role
Key job responsibilities
Solutions — You like working with customers to solve problems and identify opportunities. You’ll define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers. This includes understanding customer security and compliance requirements, proposing and delivering packaged security offerings, and helping to build bespoke security solutions to fit customers’ needs.
Expertise — Cloud is the new norm and customers are migrating increasingly more sensitive workloads to AWS. You’re an expert in operating within an enterprise security program and developing a security model in the AWS cloud - identity and access management, logging and monitoring, infrastructure security, data protection, and incident response.
Delivery — As a consultant you will often go on-site to customers to deliver projects proving the use of AWS services and security technology to support information security in the cloud. Sometimes you might help migrate existing applications; sometimes you might help them develop new applications using AWS cloud services.
Insights — You’ll work with AWS engineering, support and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
Practice Development — Helping customers is our number one goal – but it’s not our only goal. With each engagement, you’re looking for ways to collect, capture, package and share your knowledge with new customers, partners, and AWS employees. You are a force-multiplier – developing tools, services, and new artefacts that help others build on the work you deliver.

Basic Qualifications
 
- Experience as a technical Security consultant with hands-on technical expertise in building AWS cloud security capabilities in code and deploying infrastructure in code
- Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM
- Experience in supporting internal and external customers. You understand what it means to draw out critical customer needs and focus your knowledge and creativity to deliver practical outcomes addressing those needs.
- Experience building enterprise security strategy for cloud adoption or driving the program's evolution to meet new requirements
- AWS Certifications, e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Security Specialty.
 
- Understanding of enterprise risk management methods and techniques to drive successful outcomes in complex public sector or highly regulated organisations
- Significant experience in IT security, compliance and risk management, including privacy, controls, etc
- Proven and significant experience working with security reference architectures for all-in cloud deployments and/or hybrid scenarios
- Understanding architectural implications of meeting industry standards such as ISO 27001, UK Official

The role:
The Professional Security services co-ordinator works within the Professional security services team which is part of the Cyber security division. The Division is responsible for the full life cycle of security services including inception, introduction, management and development.
The co-ordinator will assist in the co-ordination of these services. The post holder will also support development of services to ensure they continue to meet emerging requirements of the user community and supports security services managers in formulating future strategy for the services. Continued training and development in key areas associated with the services will be offered regularly.
What you’ll be doing:
- You will beacting as a first point of contact for Clients, Internal and External via email, teams and telephone.
- Scheduling, coordinating and prioritising engagements.
- Collaborating with teams and other members to allocate engagements to the Penetration testing team, Security specialistsand Cyber Essentials/Plus assessors
- Paying attention to detail andensuring all aspects of the project are completed to a high standard.
- Keeping andmaintaining digital records, processing and reporting with accuracy.
- Documenting,creating and maintaining spreadsheets, and reports.
What we are looking for:
- You will have proven work experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator, or similar role.
- You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent MS office Skills
- The ability to work under pressure
- Be helpful and friendly manner
- Good interpersonal skills
- Be organised and can manage priorities effectively
Qualifications or training
- ITIL Foundation, but not essential
DBS required or enhanced background screening: This position requires the successful candidate to undergo enhanced background screening checks, which include but is not limited to
- Basic / Enhanced UK criminal record check
- Credit check
- International fraud and sanctions.
