We are recruiting for an SEN Teacher to join our new Acorn School - Avonside School located in Brislington, Bristol.
About the Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and make effective use of resources to improve learning standards and achievement for all pupils, in collaboration with the Headteacher.
- Teach across a range of subjects to support the delivery of our secondary curriculum, with flexibility to work beyond the main teaching areas when required.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as agreed with the Headteacher to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Contribute to promoting the learning, personal development, and well-being of all students.
General Responsibilities
- Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.
- Adhere to professional standards, statutory requirements, and school policies.
- Support the day-to-day administration and organisation of the school.

We are now looking for a Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) to work within our Bath and North East Somerset Drug and Alcohol Service where you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drugs and alcohol usage.
As a Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) you’ll have the chance to make a real difference to the lives of the people we support who are experiencing difficulties from drug and alcohol use, working with them to develop the personal, flexible and realistic support packages they need to support their recovery.

Role Responsibility
As a community based Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) in a busy prescribing service, you will be involved with opiate substitute treatment, alcohol and opiate detoxifications and relapse prevention medications. As part of the wider Wellbeing Team you will also provide support to the nursing team providing Blood Borne Virus screening and vaccinations and will work closely with mental health, physical health and social care services. You'll also help to create a collaborative approach that links Turning Point ever closer to outside professionals and agencies.
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a qualified Non-Medical Prescriber Nurse (NMP) that will join an established team in Bath, you will need to be an excellent communicator, you'll have the ability to develop support packages that are creative, flexible and tailored to the needs of each individual. And of course, we're looking for someone who loves talking to people with different needs, is genuinely interested in helping them, and possesses a deep level of empathy, understanding and patience.

Locations: Central Hub Brunswick Square, North Greenway Community Centre, South Symes Community Centre. Clinical staff will be assigned to one of the hubs but expected to work across all our Bristol premises as required.

Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP - Orthopaedics/SpinalNew Hall Hospital - 37.5 hours per week

What you’ll bring with you
NMC/HCPC registration
Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments
Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
Spinal scrub experience would be desirable
Anaesthetic experience would be desirable but not essential
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
Flexible and positive attitude
