As a Tax and Financials Regulatory Analyst , you will play a critical role in ensuring our Corporate Tax and Financials products remain compliant with UK tax and financial reporting standards. You will help maintain and enhance our current Corporate Tax offering, while also supporting the ongoing development of our Financials product—particularly around compliance, reporting frameworks, and XBRL tagging.

This role is well suited to someone with a background in either UK corporate tax or statutory financial reporting, and who is excited to work across both domains as part of a collaborative team.

Location:

The role is a remote role and is available to all applicants residing and eligible to work in the UK. There may be requirements to travel to the office at least once a month.

What you will be doing:
  • Corporate Tax: Support the ongoing compliance of Caseware UK’s Corporate Tax solution in line with HMRC regulations and standards. This involves interpreting HMRC manuals, legislation, and schema updates to define accurate and actionable product requirements. Collaboration with internal teams and HMRC representatives is key to staying ahead of upcoming tax software and regulatory changes. Additionally, contribute to the strategic planning of Caseware’s future tax proposition, including support for integration with external platforms and services.
  • Financials: Work closely with the Financials product team to ensure continued alignment with financial reporting requirements across the UK and Republic of Ireland, such as those outlined in the Companies Act and FRC standards. Collaborate with in-house regulatory analysts to develop and maintain accurate XBRL/iXBRL tagging within financial statements. Translate new disclosure requirements and technical updates into clear, structured specifications that guide product development.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as a subject matter expert within agile delivery teams, helping developers and product managers understand complex tax and financial reporting obligations. Engage with users and stakeholders to identify regulatory challenges and ensure the product delivers effective solutions. Contribute actively to sprint planning, refinement, and testing to enable timely delivery of compliance features, and support go-to-market efforts by providing internal training and relevant documentation.
What you will bring:
  • Expertise in UK corporate tax or statutory financial reporting (e.g. CT600, FRS 102, Companies House filings).
  • Holds a relevant qualification such as CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Experience or familiarity with XBRL/iXBRL tagging (knowledge of FRC and HMRC taxonomies is a plus).
  • Can interpret legislation, HMRC guidance, or reporting standards and translate them into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Is collaborative, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to cross-functional product teams.
  • Has a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a genuine interest in digital transformation in the accounting and tax space.
  • Experience working in product, regulatory analysis, or software implementation is beneficial but not essential.

What you’ll do:

Main Responsibilities

Technical Verification Engineer (QS) – NAPIT

  • Act as the NAPIT Qualified Supervisor for electrical installation activities.
  • Work closely with the Head of Engineering (Principal Duty Holder) to ensure employee competence, training and supervision.
  • Verify installation/inspection quality to the standards of BS 7671
  • Oversee inspection, testing, and Electrical Installation Certification (EIC) processes and Electrical Inspection Condition Reports (EICR's)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records required by NAPIT, as per the NAPIT QS requirements.
  • Manage NAPIT annual assessments and site visit preparations.

Quality Assurance

  • Conduct inspections & audits on recently verified or installation works.
  • Develop and maintain inspection and test procedures for electrical systems.
  • Investigate defects using root cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Operations teams to resolve compliance issues.
  • Monitor and report on electrical quality KPIs.
  • Deliver toolbox talks to reinforce electrical quality standards.
  • Support internal and external audits (e.g. ISO 9001, customer-specific).

Documentation & Process Improvement

  • Maintain electrical quality and compliance documentation, including test reports, audit trails, and training records.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance electrical quality, efficiency, and safety.
  • Support development of internal electrical standards and policies.
  • Ensure timely completion and verification of NAPIT certification (MW's/EIC's/EICR's).

  • The post holder may be required to undertake other reasonable adhoc duties as appropriate and requested by their Line Manager.

Essential qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
  • Recognised electrical inspection & testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391).
  • Recognised Solar PV & Battery Storage qualifications (LCL/BPEC/C&G's)

  Required experience

  • Significant experience in electrical installation.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical compliance, inspection, and test protocols in line with regulatory standards.
  • Prior experience in a quality, compliance, or test engineering role.
  • Previous experience as Qualified Supervisor (QS) in line with NAPIT is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Solar PV specific testing procedures and documentation.

Role Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Officer will be responsible for identifying, interpreting and advising on regulatory requirements of TP ICAP’s EMEA businesses to ensure that TP ICAP pursues its strategic objectives in accordance with all applicable regulatory requirements. The Regulatory Compliance Officer will work to create a compliance culture within the TP ICAP Group, with particular responsibility for the UK broking divisions.

Role Responsibilities

  • Horizon-scanning to detect and track emerging regulatory requirements.
  • Interpreting emerging regulatory requirements and advising stakeholders on their potential impact and associated control requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across TP ICAP, including the EMEA COO, the EMEA Head of Venues and Market Infrastructure, and Legal.

A Day In The Life…

Our Compliance Director is looking for a hard-working, highly driven, and passionate Regulatory Affairs Compliance Specialist to join the team. This role would be suitable for someone who is very meticulous with excellent time management skills and enjoys working both autonomously and as part of a growing team. We are growing incredibly fast and that’s why we need an extra pair of hands-on deck to provide a great service to the business and to our customers.

Marketing plays a pivotal part in our business and a primary function of this role would be to review and approve marketing content in accord with regulatory requirements in a timely fashion, therefore making it crucial to our growth! We move and think fast so it’s important that you can thrive in a fast-paced environment and are happy to roll up your sleeves to do whatever it takes to support the team in every way possible. Your day to day will look a little bit like this…

  • Review marketing content to ensure relevant compliance requirements are met
  • Support product registrations in various countries/states
  • Support the planning and execution of product trials and regulatory inspections
  • Keep up to date with changes in regulatory legislation and guidelines
  • Assist with implementing requirements for labelling, storage and packaging
  • Assist with regulatory review of product labels and other claims
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities
  • Assist with the internal complaints process; reporting and advising accordingly
  • Support the Quality team with implementing the HACCP policy and other Quality requirements
  • Review claims substantiation
  • Build and maintain a knowledge database - appropriately storing, keeping track and disseminating information within the team
  • Ensure maintenance of regulatory databases and trackers
  • Assist with upcoming expansions into new markets and product categories
  • Study key scientific and legal regulatory documents relating to new and existing products
  • Cooperate with the New Product Development team and the Quality team in order to assist with timely product launches
  • Support with the claim’s substantiation process
  • Research potential risks in relation to both new and existing products; reporting and advising accordingly

Requirements

What You Need…

  • 2 -3 years proven experience in a Regulatory/ Compliance environment – (Food, Pharma, Animal feed or supplement sector would be highly advantageous)
  • Previous experience working with regulatory agencies advantageous
  • Knowledge of Product Compliance (Labels, Creatives, Social media, blogs)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Drive to make things happen, using initiative and logic - a true 'self-starter'
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail, collaborative, consultative, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn additional software on the job
  • Ability to Multitask: ability to switch tasks smoothly, managing stress levels effectively in fast-paced situations.
  • Great Organisation skills: planning ahead, always well prepared for meetings, while seeking to maximise time and productivity

My client, a London based insurance company who are looking to strengthen their compliance team with the addition of 2 compliance professionals.


The broad remit of the role is to provide compliance oversight across the business by testing the effectiveness of regulatory controls, risk management and governance processes.

This is a highly visible role within the organisation and as such we seek someone career minded who can join the team with a determination to succeed and impress.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Simultaneously managing multiple assessment projects across all lifecycle stages (planning, testing, reporting, follow-up) using project and time management methods, ensuring timely delivery and quality with minimal supervision.
  • Independently identifying and assessing risk, Identifying key controls within a process, designing internal controls and repeatable test plans.
  • Conducting independent testing and validation of key controls to ensure they are well-designed and working effectively to reduce risks and provide good customer.

The successful applicant will have a thorough and detailed understanding of risk and controls. They will have robust report writing skills as well as exemplary time management as reports are submitted on a quarterly basis and without delay and so commitment to the timings are important.

The role would suit someone who has worked as an internal auditor or internal controls professional within financial services, who is keen to move to a second line role.

Relationship management is a critical part of the role and so previous experience in leading and managing stakeholders previously is imperative.

The team work in a hybrid manner with 2-3 days in the City of London offices.

c£65-70k base + benefits and bonus potential.
