As a Repair Technician , your role will be to assist in the review and repair of faulty products received by the company.
Duties for the Repair Technician:
- Repair and review all products received
- Rework of PCB components
- Working on SMT, through hole and PCB track repair procedures
- Soldering to IPC standards.
- Soldering small components.
- Soldering with a microscope at times.
- PCB soldering experience
- Experience in electronic rework and repair
- Be able to understand technical drawings
- Solder to good standards
- Experience in IPC 7711/7721
- IPC 610 certificate - beneficial
- Good attention to detail and be able to work to tight deadlines
- Get a competitive pay structure
- Early finish on Fridays
- Friendly work environment
- 25 days annual leave
- Monthly company events
- Monday to Thursday 7:30-16:30 and early finish on Fridays 12:30

Assembly & Repair Technicians required urgently for one of our leading manufacturing companies based in Farnborough. This is a key role to the business where you will be working to production targets to manufacture a range of specialist equipment utilised across a wide range of industries.
On offer is the opportunity to work for a specialist manufacturing company and take responsibility for repairing and diagnostics on a wide variety of portal mobile devices. With a massive influx in orders for the next couple of years we are looking to increase headcount across a number of production, assembly and warehouse departments.
Skills and Responsibilities
- Bench repair including testing and diagnostics
- Intricate assembly and dis-assembly of products
- Soldering and repairing of electronics components
- Utilisation of a range of hand tools
- Working to build sheets or drawings
- Inspection of work quality
- Ensure documentation is correct and legible

- Perform high-quality repairs to doors, window frames, baths, sinks, tiles, worktops, and flooring.
- Colour-match and blend materials for seamless finishes.

- Use hand tools, fillers, paints, and polishing equipment effectively.
- Liaise professionally with site managers and clients.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures on-site.

Requirements:

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
