Requirements

  • Provide expert agronomic and technical support for the Dyson Farming’s agronomy research portfolio (herbicides, fungicides, varieties, nutrition biologicals).
  • Translate complex R&D data into actionable insights for Dyson Farming Research members and internal teams at Dyson Farming.
  • Produce and deliver knowledge transfer materials including presentations, technical bulletins, presentations, and digital content tailored to growers, advisors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Manage precision farming projects across the business, ensuring effective use of data-driven tools and technologies to support decision-making, improve input efficiency, and enhance crop performance.
  • Engage with our grower members through field days, technical workshops, webinars, and direct consultations to share findings and gather feedback.

Person specification

  • Proven experience in commercial farming, agronomy, or agricultural consultancy, ideally within large-scale or progressive farming systems.

  • Experience with pest and disease prediction modelling, including the use of forecasting tools and data-driven decision support systems.
  • BASIS and FACTs qualified.
