OVERVIEW   

The Product Development Coordinator will play a key role in driving new fragrance and product launches, including limited-edition collections, from initial concept through to launch. In this role, you’ll work closely with internal teams (marketing, purchasing, creative) and external partners (fragrance houses, suppliers) to transform ideas into finished products on shelf.


KEY REQUIREMENTS:

·   Support the end-to-end NPD process for fragrance projects, from briefing to launch

·   Assist in the preparation of product briefs and documentation for suppliers

·   Coordinate timelines, samples, and approvals across departments 

·   Help manage product development trackers, packaging submissions, and artwork rounds

·   Maintain continuous awareness of industry trends and launches. Carry out competitor analysis to support the NPD process

·   Maintain accurate records for product specifications and regulatory files

·   Support product testing and client feedback analysis. 

·   Work with procurement and supply chain on material sourcing and MOQ management


QUALIFICATIONS:

·   Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Cosmetic Science, or related field

·   1–2 years of experience in beauty, fragrance, or FMCG industries (internships included)

·   Experience working with timelines and ability to work with precision

·   A passion for fragrance and product development

·   Excellent written and verbal communication

·   Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

·   Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Monday.com, Excel trackers) is a plus

·   Fluent in English; additional languages a bonus

Role:

Join our team as a Product Development Technologist and play a pivotal role in delivering exciting new business opportunities with major retailers. You'll work on high-profile projects managing critical deadlines while also driving innovation across projects and key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input recipes into the management system to assess cost and nutritional information.
  • Coordinate with NPD buyers and the packaging innovation team for material requirements.
  • Prepare and ensure accuracy of all necessary documentation for product approval.
  • Assist with kitchen-made samples for internal panels, nutritional testing, and presentations.
  • Plan and prepare product samples, including ordering and transportation, and document findings.
  • Conduct kitchen organoleptic testing throughout the product's shelf-life and suggest recipe adjustments.
  • Follow critical path timelines and escalate any risks or delays.
  • Ensure sustainability considerations are included in product development.
  • Accurately label and box samples for external shipment.
  • Purchase ingredients and benchmark samples as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Food/Nutrition Science, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of the food industry.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills.

The Role:

We are looking for a Procurement & NPD Project Manager who can deliver innovation and drive new products to market. Here’s how:

· Lead projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

· Manage procurement of dry goods (labels, bottles, cartons, corks) and ensure sustainable material choices

· Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, marketing, production, and sales teams to deliver seamless NPD

· Develop and manage supplier relationships, ensuring best value and premium quality

· Oversee product testing, compliance, and risk management across categories including whisky, rum, and cognac

· Conduct post-launch evaluations to measure performance and identify improvements


About You:

· Degree-qualified with 3+ years’ project management experience , ideally within FMCG or drinks

· Strong knowledge of supply chain, operations, and international logistics

· Experienced in project management tools (Tropos, Airtable, Jira/Confluence, MS Office)

· Skilled in risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement

· Creative problem solver with excellent communication and organisational skills

· Knowledge of packaging and POS development desirable; PMP/PRINCE II certification a plus
