About Your Role

We are seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant with expertise in power trading and dispatch to contribute to key projects involving optimization, scheduling, ancillary services, trade entry, and power exchange operations. The ideal candidate will have experience working with system operators, which will be a significant advantage.

Requirements

  • Design and implement Endur solutions including scripting
  • Have a broad business skill set including stakeholder management, problem-solving, and resilience.
  • Have experience in gathering, validating, synthesizing, documenting, and communicating data and information for a range of audiences.
  • Can undertake business process analysis, requirements gathering, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Can lead and contribute to application changes in power trading & dispatch systems.
  • Have experience in working on ancillary services and trade entry operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Energy, Engineering, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certifications in ETRM systems, Power Trading, or Energy Markets are a plus.
  • Prior consulting experience with a focus on Energy/power markets.

Your role


The work we do requires a mix of technical, problem-solving and relationship management skills. Working independently or as part of a team, our Consultants can be involved in a range of projects at any one time, providing hands-on support to clients and team members. Consultancy is often project-based which means the day-to-day activities can be complex and varied.


Our projects vary in length and size. You may be working with a large degree of independence or as part of a wider team. Your work can be based at our office, at a single client site or across several sites. About you

  • Confidence in interpreting numerical and statistical evidence;
  • Some experience in project management, business planning, or financial modelling processes;
  • The ability to undertake in-depth analysis of business issues, and make practical recommendations;
  • Be able to present and facilitate confidently – both with and without visual aids – in a varied meeting environments;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience of writing objective, concise and clear reports;

The Opportunity
Are you ready to lead strategic software deployment initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We're looking for a Software Deployment Consultant to join our high-energy Deployment & Testing team, part of the wider Technology function supporting both UK&I and global operations.
In this exciting role, you'll oversee software asset management and configuration processes, lead a talented team, and collaborate across markets to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient software deployment.
What You'll Be Doing
+ Strategic Leadership: Drive the vision and strategy for software deployment, aligning with business goals and industry best practices.
+ Team Management: Lead and support the Software Technical Analyst and Software Management Officer, fostering growth and excellence.
+ Software Asset Management: Oversee lifecycle planning, patch management, and data validation of software assets.
+ Configuration Management: Maintain accurate records in the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
+ Compliance & Security: Partner with Cybersecurity to uphold standards and ensure a secure tech environment.
+ Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with franchisees, suppliers, and global tech teams to streamline operations.
+ Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements to boost team efficiency and effectiveness.
