You’ll play a key role in designing, installing, and delivering systems used in outside broadcast (OB) units, fibre infrastructure, and mobile production setups. The role blends project management with hands-on engineering, working both in studio and on location at live events. This position will be based full time from the company HQ in South London.

The Heathrow Modernisation Programme is underway, with a minimum 0bn spend to increase capacity by 20 million passengers. We are partnered with one of the UK’s biggest construction firms, who will be self-delivering the elements of the MEP services.
They expect no less than 7 years of work on site and are strengthening their core MEP team with the addition of MEP Project Engineers and MEP Project Managers
The most pressing need is for experienced MEP Engineers. This person would report directly to the MEP Project Director and lead the mechanical/electrical packages on multiple projects.
Key Accountabilities:
- Leads the MEP Engineering aspects within the project team whilst demonstrating professional and respectful behaviours.
- Accountable for the engineering aspects of the MEP services and supporting the management of the Programme, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Quality & Commissioning of the project.
- Liaises and coordinates with key project stakeholders, forming strong working relationships with the Client, Consultants, Trade Contractors, and other team members.
- Provides technical support to the tendering process via the bid teams and sector leadership/bid leads.

- Develops and implements Commissioning strategies in line with the companies Commissioning standards inclusive of IST approach, ATP’s and Soft Landings.
- Undertakes productivity assessments using digital technologies to ensure the project/package is on schedule. The ability to identify trends, key issues or critical path risks is fundamental.
- Manages project close-out to ensure all elements of completion are delivered to a high standard, such as commissioning, as built drawings, O&M Manuals and client training. Proactive identification of risk and the production of mitigation plans.
Qualifications, Certifications and Experience required:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Project Engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias.
- Bachelor’s degree/HND or similar in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- Accreditation with CIBSE, IET, IMechE, SoPHE.
- SMSTS and CSCS card.
