As such, we are looking to recruit a number of consultants across different levels, from Senior/Principal Consultant through to Associate Director.

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with strong attention to detail.

The focus within the capability is on Specialist Ergonomic Assessments (Task Analysis, Situation Awareness, Workload) Operational Concepts and Plans, Maintenance Concepts and Plans, Customer Experience Strategies, Staff Recruiting and Training Strategies
The team consists of Human Factors Specialists and Station Operations Specialists working across numerous projects for multiple clients including HS2, Network Rail/ Network Rail Scotland and Crossrail. The role reports to the Technical Lead for People Centred Design. We have recently won projects with two new clients a Control Room redesign for Transport for London - a Human Factors led multi-disciplinary to redesign an existing Tram Control Room including the construction phasing and temporary control room during construction and two Platform Train Interface projects for the DfT via Connected Places Catapult. The work streams are diverse and we are continuing to build the in house capability.

Commercial Grounds Maintenance staff of all levels

London and Home Counties

Our award-winning clients working in London and the homes counties provide grass cutting (ride on and pedestrian), strimming, shrub and border maintenance, hedge cutting, litter picking, and a full range of horticultural work as required by the contracted works. They are seeking Grounds Maintenance staff of all levels and abilities to join their teams. The successful candidates need to be reliable, energetic and enthusiastic with a determined and flexible approach.

Job Objectives & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure all tasks are completed to the required standard
  • Attend and participate in any requested tool box talks.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Grass Cutting (ride on and pedestrian)
  • Strimming
  • Pruning
  • Weeding
  • Shrub and Border Maintenance
  • Hedge Cutting
  • Leaf and litter picking
  • Sweeping/cleaning
  • Herbicide Application
  • A full range of horticultural work as requested by the contracted works.
  • Report and return any broken machinery to your Team Leader.
  • Ensure skips are loaded correctly, both general waste skip and green waste skips.
  • Be prepared to work the hours necessary to meet our contractual obligation.
  • Ensure all tasks completed are to specification required and finished to a high standard.
  • Ensure all communication with colleagues, clients and members of the public is courteous and professional and in line with core standards.

Requirements

  • A positive attitude
  • CSCS Card desirable not essential
  • Full driving Licence desired not essential
  • Previous experience within Grounds Maintenance
  • Qualification to tow trailers and PA1/PA6 highly desirable

The salary will depend on experience and location.
