Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and variances.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions, providing recommendations based on financial viability.
- Support the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various departments to gather data and ensure accuracy.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to support company growth objectives.
- Evaluate the financial implications of new business initiatives and pricing strategies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance department, seeking efficiencies in data analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.
- Experience working in a hybrid model environment.
- Familiarity with financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools is a plus.
