The Role.

  • Lead end-to-end organic search strategy across technical, content, and off-site SEO

What your background looks like


  • 3+ years’ experience in an SEO role
  • Ideally having worked in online gambling before
  • Is well-rounded in all pillars of SEO including technical, content, and off-site link acquisition
  • Has great experience in the typical SEO toolset i.e. Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google AnalyticsGoogle Search Console, or similar.
  • Has experience or a desire to innovate and elevate SEO and the wider organic earned and owned product offering including integrated search
  • Organisational commitment and performance excellence skills
  • Good public relations/relationship building, management report writing, and communication skills

About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical SEO consultancy to your clients and adapt recommendations to clients specific platforms set up.

Role purpose and overview

The Telegraph is looking for a talented and enthusiastic SEO Manager to join its SEO team and report into the SEO Director to lead on some key organic growth strategies. Job Purpose:

This role will be situated in the SEO team at Spotlight Sports Group and will be responsible for helping to grow the organic search traffic across the group by devising and overseeing the execution of the Technical SEO and AI Search strategies. Manager, you will directly manage a wide range of SEO campaigns across multiple industries. You will stay up to date with the latest trends and updates in the industry, both in terms of on-site and off-site factors. You will not only be the main point of contact for your clients, but you will be hands on with strategizing the campaign to reach their clients goals, implementing basic technical SEO with support from their development team, and working closely with their content and offsite teams to strategise and deliver monthly work. Youll also be responsible for developing, refining and implementing the growth strategy for SEO as well as crafting bespoke campaigns for their clients.
