Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience of structured problem-solving techniques, fault diagnosis

Our niche client, with offices based in Peterborough are seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer to join them on a full-time permanent basis owing to business growth.   In this full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 8.30 – 5pm with an early finish on a Friday at 2.30pm!

As an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer, day to day you will assist in the workshop with engineering support, preparing and assembling new equipment, machine upgrades and refurbishments, testing new equipment, you will be required to complete routine maintenance, installations and breakdown/service activities for a range of products at customer sites across the UK. Installation and commission of new and refurbished/upgraded equipment, investigate, diagnose, and rectify breakdowns. Routine service/calibration. Provide technical support direct to customers as required.   

To be considered for this Multi Skilled Engineer role you will have a strong mechanical engineering background within a production environment (ideally FMCG industry), ability to read and understand engineering drawings.  Fault finding and knowledge of PLC based systems is required.   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focused approach. You must possess a full driving licence.

In return for this Multi Skilled Engineer our client is offering a salary between £40k - £43k and use of Company vehicle, mobile phone, laptop, healthcare (after qualifying period), pension, and Overtime – Paid
