Requirements
Your Role
In the role of Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of our site facilities, processing lines and automated systems. You’ll be an integral part of the team, with a varied workload, from fault finding and hands-on repairs to contributing to innovative new projects as we continue scaling up.
Role Specifics:
- Building and commissioning new equipment, from setting up processing lines, to fitting out warehousing sites and our X1 and X2 automated units
- Maintaining, disassembling and re-assembling rotating equipment (e.g. pumps) and drives (e.g. motors)
- Installing and upgrading mechanical and electrical equipment including sensors, process instrumentation, conveyor systems, frequency inverters, screw augers, heaters, pneumatics, robotics and HVAC units
- Completing emergency maintenance on equipment needing repair or replacement, with short turn-around to minimise delays
- Carrying out wiring and re-wiring of low voltage (24V), single and three phase systems (230V and 415V)
- Modifying electrical circuits within our systems and facilities
- Building electrical control panels and troubleshooting issues
- Conducting safety testing and documenting the results
What we’re looking for:
- Qualified to electrical standards 17th/18th edition
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing, process, agricultural or equivalent setting
- Ability to review and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Willingness to solve problems, getting hands-on and delivering to a high standard
- Enjoyment in taking initiative and working to tight deadlines with limited supervision
- Strong understanding of H&S standards
