  • Maintain and repair all production and plant equipment, supporting site OEE targets
  • Execute maintenance activities across the site in line with planned schedules and plant needs

The Role:
You will be part of a team of 8 engineers, reporting to the Engineering Manager, and will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a variety of production machinery. This includes flow wrappers, pick-and-place robots, and size grading machines , ensuring optimal performance during the high-volume packing and processing of produce.
 
Key responsibilities include:
  • Carrying out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Using strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding techniques to resolve breakdowns quickly.
  • Collaborating with production teams to ensure minimal downtime.

  • To ensure all machines and equipment are maintained to the optimum standards through adequate maintenance

Our perfect Multi-Skilled Engineer would have:

  • Proven experience of working as a Multi-Skilled Engineer in a similar manufacturing environment
  • An electrical apprenticeship served (City & Guilds), HNC, ONC, NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition or similar
  • A strong electrical basis with mechanical skills
  • A strong awareness of and full commitment to the adherence of health and safety guidelines
  • A proactive approach with a focus on driving improvement
