The client is a well-established and world leader in the manufacturer of specialist electrical equipment for a variety of applications worldwide
Working alongside the client’s own staff the role will include working on the installation of a range of components and will involve all aspects of basic mechanical fitting.
The work will be on a day shift basis
Applicants must have a proven track record in a similar role and have some previous technical or engineering experience Previous experience of machine building or assembly would be advantageous.
This is an ongoing long-term contract for the right candidate.

Working closely with production, you'll be part of a small but dynamic group that keeps operations moving smoothly. No two days will be the same - from planned maintenance and continuous improvement projects to reactive challenges, you'll be at the heart of it all.
This is a shift-based role (Monday to Friday) working a rotation of earlies, lates, and nights.
What we're looking for:
" Minimum Level II City & Guilds qualification in an engineering discipline
" 17th or 18th Edition certified
" Multi-skilled engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
" Experience controlling and liaising with OEMs, suppliers, and contractors
" Knowledge of PLC controls and confident with Microsoft IT systems
" Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical diagrams
" Welding experience
" Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

" Carrying out planned maintenance tasks using the Shire CMMS system

+ React to breakdown maintenance requests within the required SLA's.
+ Ensure routine maintenance is carried out to a high standard.
+ Test and diagnose power quality issues.
+ Emergency light testing.
+ Understand and interpret technical drawings / instructions / processes & O&M's.
+ Undertake upgrade & install work.
+ Liaise with sub-contractors as required for repairs & ensure works have been carried out in line with CBRE policies.
+ Monitor and analyse environmental conditions, review the loading/working conditions of critical equipment regularly.
+ Determine the root cause and action items required to restore availability and prevent a recurrence.
+ Accurately maintain site work logs & paperwork.
+ Other duties as and when required.
