Our client, a leading provider of building services and maintenance solutions in **Leeds**, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead HVAC Installation Engineer. This is a hands-on role, critical to ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems across a variety of commercial and industrial properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring all work is performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

- Supervise and coordinate the work of HVAC installation teams on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accurate installations.
- Install, maintain, and repair a wide range of HVAC systems, including boilers, chillers, air handling units, and control systems.
- Perform diagnostic tests and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct quality checks and ensure all work meets client specifications and company standards.
- Train and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and support on technical matters.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, clients, and other trades on-site.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or Installation Engineer, with at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related engineering discipline.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical principles, and control systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with various types of HVAC equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to various work sites in and around **Leeds**.
- F-Gas certification is required.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
