- Maintain accurate records of training delivery
- Facilitate induction programmes and support with assessment of care certificates
- Foster a positive and support learning environment for all staff to support retention and staff engagement
- Utilise external funding streams to enhance training programme
Ideal Candidate:
- A recognised professional qualification in delivering training to the adult workforce such as Level 3 AET, PTTLS, CTLLS
- Demonstrable experience as a trainer within a social care setting
- A genuine passion for supporting learners and understanding the important of delivering social care training programmes that meets CQC requirements & expectations, and embeds our values

Your new role
As a Senior Lawyer within the Children's Social Care team, you'll manage and advise on a wide range of legal matters including care proceedings, adoption, and international issues. You'll also lead on complex cases and supervise up to three legal assistants.Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Deprivation of Liberty (DOL) and Secure Accommodation proceedings.
- Drafting applications, threshold statements, case summaries, and orders.
- Handling Section 7 and Section 37 matters.
- Providing advocacy in court.
- Advising on all aspects of care and adoption proceedings.
- Leading routine and complex cases under the direction of the Principal Lawyer.
- Supervising and supporting legal assistants to deliver successful outcomes.
This role offers hybrid working, with a requirement to be on-site at least two days per week.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a current practising certificate (England & Wales).
- 1-3 years post-qualification experience in the social care sector.

- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Proven experience in the public sector, ideally within local government.
