Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of young people aged 16-18 within the Children in Care pathway.
  • Undertake statutory visits, reviews, and care planning in line with legislation and local procedures.

About the Role

  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989/2004, the SEND Code of Practice, and the Care Act.

  • Excellent assessment, planning, and case management skills.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with empathy and sensitivity.

  • Commitment to promoting safeguarding and child protection principles.

  • Experience with electronic case management systems and Microsoft Office.
