Our multinational manufacturing company is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our procurement and logistics team based in Bradford, West Yorkshire, UK . This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both from our office and remotely, providing a balanced approach to our operational needs. You will be instrumental in optimizing our supply chain processes, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, and proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce supply chain costs while maintaining or improving service levels.
  • Optimize inventory levels across the network to meet demand forecasts and minimize carrying costs.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved delivery.
  • Work with logistics partners to streamline transportation and warehousing operations.
  • Develop and maintain key supply chain performance metrics (KPIs) and dashboards.
  • Conduct market research on raw material costs, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Support the development of demand forecasts and ensure alignment with supply chain capabilities.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance for management.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of supply chain processes and systems.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders across various departments, including sales, production, and finance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain analysis, procurement, or logistics.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Experience with supply chain planning and optimization software is a plus.
  • Excellent understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Experience in driving cost-saving initiatives within the supply chain.
