The sites have the capacity to grow both in revenue and efficiency but requires an influential and inspirational leader to support the Market-centric Growth Strategy. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES: Operations Director - Industrial Manufacturing / Production
As our Operations Director, you will:
· Work closely with the CEO, creating appropriate commercially driven operationally focused strategies in line with business needs.
· Own the operations with direct responsibilities for Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics, Safety and Continuous Improvement (7/8 direct and 30 indirect reports).
· Instil an 'accountability' first value across the teams, empowering others to take ownership and make decisions.
· Take a close look at current processes and methodologies building on foundations and looking for key improvements.
· Assess key arrears to monitor and introduce new KPI's ensuring both compliance and quality MI to compare data.
· Control of a c£500k CAPEX budget < >· Be instrumental in the smooth integration of our new ERP system

+ Support the establish of the newly formed Tooling and Ground Support Equipment Inventory Support Centre (ISC).
+ Support the development of robust working processes to support the attainment of Military Aviation Authority accreditations.
+ Receive materiel into the ISC using a combination of Boeing and end user Log IS and produce any necessary paperwork.
+ Raise Purchase Requests for the calibration or replacement of items through either Boeing or MOD contracts as appropriate.
+ Receive and issue materiel from either the Boeing or MOD Supply Chain and bring it on charge using appropriate Log IS.
+ Identify and resolve supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
+ Progression of end user enquiries to support maintenance planning and decision making.
+ Support Company safety processes and procedures by identifying and reporting safety concerns to preclude injury or hardware damage.
+ Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies to seek opportunities to deliver best value for money to the programme
+ Develop productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

A new opportunity has arisen within the Boeing Vertical Lift Supply Chain team for a Supply Chain Specialist - Tooling Asset Manager Lead on the UK Apache LTTSS programme who will support end users through leading a team that manages the repair and calibration of tooling and Ground Support Equipment. The successful candidate will need to be proactive, agile thinker able to solve complex problems within a multi-stakeholder environment.
Responsible to the Apache Material Flow Manager, you will carry out applicable duties and will be aware of, and follow, Boeing's stringent safety procedures and processes. This is an on-site role based at Wattisham.
**Position responsibilities include:**
+ Establish the newly formed Tooling and Ground Support Equipment Inventory Support Centre (ISC).
+ Develop robust working processes to support the attainment of Military Aviation Authority accreditations.
+ Receive materiel into the ISC using a combination of Boeing and end user Log IS and produce any necessary paperwork.
+ Raise Purchase Requests for the calibration or replacement of items through either Boeing or MOD contracts as appropriate.
+ Receive and issue materiel from either the Boeing or MOD Supply Chain and bring it on charge using appropriate Log IS.
+ Identify and resolve supply chain management issues and discrepancies.
+ Progression of end user enquiries to support maintenance planning and decision making.
+ Support Company safety processes and procedures by identifying and reporting safety concerns to preclude injury or hardware damage.
+ Apply Continuous Improvement methodologies to seek opportunities to deliver best value for money to the programme
+ Develop productive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
+ Carry out other Supply duties as required by the Material Flow Manager or the Material Flow Team Leader.
