We are currently seeking a motivated and GPhC-registered Pharmacist to join our friendly and professional team, supporting medication management across all clinical departments.
- Carry out medicines reconciliation and screening of drug charts on the ward.
- Counsel patients on TTOs (To Take Outs) and medication changes to ensure safe discharge and full understanding.
- Provide accurate and evidence-based medicines information, responding to clinical queries from healthcare professionals.
- Aid and support the hospital’s antimicrobial stewardship programme.
- Carry out regular audits to maintain high standards of medication safety and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with the wider clinical team to promote safe, effective, and personalised patient care.
- GPhC registration as a qualified pharmacist is essential.
- Previous hospital experience is desirable but not essential – full training and development are available.

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a EYFS Practitioner to join our close-knit team at Acorn Park School located in Norwich.
Job purpose
- To work under the guidance of the class teacher in the planning and implementation of the early years foundation stage (EYFS) and other national programmes/strategies with individuals or groups of pupils or the whole class to promote effective teaching and learning within a specialist Autism School.
- During the short term absence of the class teacher a nursery nurse may be required to supervise the whole class and deliver pre prepared activities.
- To provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organisation of the pupils and the classroom.
- To assist the teacher in creating and maintaining a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
- To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils, ensuring they have equal opportunities to learn and develop.
- To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of pupils and young people within the school.
Qualifications required
- Level 3 Qualification such as Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education
- Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Practitioner
- Level 3 Diploma in pupil's Learning and Development
- Level 3 Diploma in Montessori Pedagogy - Birth to Seven

Acorn Park is a school for 98 pupils, who all have a primary diagnosis of Autism. We run two curriculum pathways – Formal and Semi-formal. Our Complex needs pupils are on the Semi-Formal Pathway which is highly personalised from their EHCP. About the role
To develop the academic capabilities, social and communication skills and focussing on successful and purposeful learning. To lead the class team by example and direction, ensuring the highest quality of education and care for every pupil.
Main Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans in line with the requirements of the Formal or Semi-Formal Curriculum Pathway.
- To ensure they have adequate planning to teach high quality lessons
- To organise the learning environment and develop resources in order to maximise the learning process.
- To establish positive relationships with pupils and to develop close, professional relationships with parents/carers.
- To use assessment tools effectively and according to school deadlines, to record pupil progress.
- To foster enthusiasm for learning.
- To ensure that pupils are challenged in their learning and aim to achieve their full potential.
- To share responsibility for the well being, safety and behaviour management of pupils in line with the school’s policies.
- To demonstrate excellent practice and work collaboratively and supportively with colleagues.

- To meet the EHCP needs of the pupils.
