Due to continuous success here at Fortem, we are currently recruiting for a Multi Trade to join our Cambridge Housing Society contract. We are looking for someone to work in and around the Haverhill region. You will need to be competent in multiple Trades, with a specific focus on plumbing or carpentry. This is a permanent role and the core working hours are 8am - 4:30pm - Work Van, Fuel card, Power tools provided! The Multi Trade takes ownership of work, operating within the company Health and Safety guidelines, and remaining within budget and time parameters, whilst being Courteous and professional around the tenants. Ensuring all work is undertaken to a high standard with the minimum of supervision.
The Customer
Our contract with Cambridge Housing Society is brand new and launching on April 1st. This will be a long term partnership with houses covering the whole of Cambridgeshire, from Wisbech down to Haverhill, although primarily situated in central Cambridge. There are nearly 3,000 properties, mostly houses and flats, and we will be looking after their Repairs, Voids, Cyclical Works and Planned workstreams.
Duties and Responsibilities

* Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks across this established Social Housing contract, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
* Take ownership of assigned work, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit to minimise repeat visits and disruptions.
