About the Role:
Are you a passionate MFL teacher looking for exciting new opportunities from September 2025? Join our talent pool to work with secondary schools in Bristol as an MFL Teacher, where you'll have the chance to inspire students and help them develop fluency, confidence, and a love for languages.
Role Overview:
As an MFL Teacher, you will deliver engaging and innovative lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the possibility of teaching up to A-Level. You will deliver lessons provided by the school (no planning or marking required).
Salary:
140 - 260 per day (PAYE), depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide constructive feedback and support student progress.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the MFL curriculum.
* Foster an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.
* Support extracurricular activities such as language clubs, cultural events, and trips.
What We're Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Strong subject knowledge in at least one modern foreign language (e.g., French, Spanish, German).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Zen Educate are working closely with a multi academy trust in Bristol providing supply cover across their secondary schools in Bristol. We are interested in speaking with teachers that are either part time or full time work depending on the amount of work they are needing. The goal is to have you guaranteed for work across the trust for a certain amount of days per week to which you would be required to cover various subjects throughout the day or more in line with your subject specialism, depending on the need.
Working hours are 8:30 - 3:30 and lessons will be planned for you, unless you end up taking a contract with one particular school for specific role.
We are looking for teachers that have a can do attitude, can be flexible to the needs of the schools in the trust and keep students engaged in their learning and on task. Ideally you will have access to a car but this is not essential. Teachers we currently have working for the schools have a great time supporting and covering and all the schools have put lots of effort and changes to ensure that behaviour is closely monitored and maintained.
Requirements;
- UK QTS, you can either be a fully qualified teacher or an ECT
- Good classroom management and able to follow school policies
- Flexible to the needs of the school and a good work ethic
- Happy to teach numerous subjects outside of your specialism
- Great communication skills with those in school as well as those in Zen
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, either one currently held or happy to obtain one as part of your application
