Horizon Teachers is partnering with a warm, inclusive Primary School in Lewisham, seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in Year 3 who has learning difficulties.


The successful candidate will provide tailored support to help the child access the curriculum, develop confidence, and make progress across all areas of learning.

This role is starting in November and will continue until July 2026 on a full-time basis, offering up to 75 per week.



Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one support to the Year 3 pupil, adapting resources and support as needed.

  • Support the pupil in accessing class lessons, small group work and activities.
  • Help reinforce speech, language and communication targets, where required.
