Key Responsibilities of the Welding Team Leader.
- Promote and maintain a strong Health & Safety culture.
- Monitor daily KPIs and drive improvements.

- Manage labour effectively to ensure smooth production flow.
- Follow and enforce schedules to meet daily and weekly targets.

Minimum Experience/ Skills Required

- Proven hands-on experience as a Welder Fabricator
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and support teams effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, with experience in quality control and problem solving
- Confident using Microsoft Office and other digital tools for planning, reporting, and daily operations

My client is accredited to the highest BRCGS Food Safety standards and provide world class services to some of the biggest names within the food and manufacturing industry.
Due to an internal progression, there is a vacant position for a Maintenance Team Leader to join a team 12.
This opportunity is perfect for the maintenance team leader to take the next step into the supervisory position – you will lead and oversee a team of 9 engineers being 20% hands on assisting with emergency breakdowns. In addition to the role, you will be managing their CMMS system overlooking various reliability installations, scheduling PM’s, ordering parts and attending daily meetings with different department heads. This role will be 20-30% hands on.
Other responsibilities of the maintenance team leader:
- Checking and issuing goods that come in for the warehouse and external customers
- Plan and coordinate maintenance schedules prioritising key task daily
- Purchase of materials
- Support the day-to-day maintenance on emergency breakdowns

Requirements of the Maintenance Team Leader
You possess:
- Experience of working on a CMMS system

- Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 engineering qualification
- Knowledge and experience of ordering part

Role
We have a number of exciting new opportunities for team leaders within the logistics team in our new Offsite facility in Dewsbury:

Our new facility will be available from early 2026, so the successful candidate may be required to initially work from our Bradford site until the Dewsbury premises are available.
Responsibilities :
Daily Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Health & Safety Compliance:
Enforce safe working practices and ensure PPE is worn correctly.
Conduct safety checks and report hazards or incidents.
Lead by example in maintaining a clean and safe work area.
2. Team Leadership & Supervision
Allocate tasks and monitor performance of logistics operatives.
Conduct daily briefings to communicate targets, updates, and safety reminders.
Provide coaching, support, and training to team members.
Manage attendance, shift patterns, and resolve minor personnel issues.
3. Operational Coordination
Oversee inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams.
Ensure proper documentation for all logistics activities (e.g., delivery notes).
Liaise with transport providers and internal departments to resolve delays or issues.
4. Performance Monitoring
Track KPIs such as delivery accuracy, turnaround time, and cost efficiency.
Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
Prepare daily or weekly reports for management.
5. Communication & Problem Solving
Act as the first point of contact for logistics-related queries.
Resolve operational issues quickly to minimize disruption.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Sewell Wallis is currently supporting a well-established North Leeds organisation who are looking for an HR Operations Team Leader to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
The successful candidate will lead and develop a team of HR Assistants to ensure delivery of day-to-day objectives, project deliverables, and ongoing individual development.
What will you be doing?
- Driving continuous improvement, embedding digital tools, automation, and AI where appropriate.
- Managing the day-to-day administration of the end-to-end HR employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding and other transactional processes.
- Analysing employee data and produce statistical reports for the business.
- Developing and maintaining HR reporting and dashboards providing analysis about the data and what the metrics are saying.
What skills are we looking for?
The HR Operations Team Leader will have:
- Proven leadership within HR/ Shared Services / People Services.
- Strong operational HR background.
- Ability to manage high volumes of HR queries and inbox management.
- Excellent skills in prioritisation, SLA delivery, and managing conflicting demands.
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law particularly right to work.
