We have multiple Shift options for this role:

- General understanding of industry standards and regulations to ensure guidelines are followed and machinery and equipment are operated safety.

The successful candidate will be responsible for control and supervision of work tasks for planned and reactive maintenance with support from the building Engineering Supervisor and Shift Leader. They will also be liaising with Engineering management and client personnel to ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with site policies and procedures and within health and safety legislative requirements.
The candidate will be required to operate as an Authorised person ensuring all required safety paperwork is completed to a high standard whilst also ensuring alignment with company policies and safe system of work.
Whilst on site the Data Centre Shift Technician will report to the Engineering Shift Leader and will support the shift teams to ensure all works are carried out safely, to a high standard and within site specific time constraints. This role is a continental shift role for an experienced HVAP.
**Role Summary**
+ Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements.
+ Respond to Building Management System alarms and effect emergency repairs as needed.
+ Issue and ensure appropriate controls within the Permit to Work systems.
+ Ensure required switching schedules, SOPs and EOPs are created and utilised in line with Company policies and SSOW
+ Ensure that Evaporative Cooling Systems and domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard
+ Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance of the above plant
+ Ensure that comprehensive maintenance records are kept in the form of REALM task sheets
+ Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared for all in house tasks carried out to ensure safe working practices are adhered to
+ Ensure that engineering subcontractors are appropriately supervised and comply with contractual commitments and site operating processes
+ Develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff and clients' staff
+ Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required
+ Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is always delivered and promoted
+ Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning
+ Ensuring work packs include required documentation including review of Subcontractor RAMS
+ Responsible for ensuring training and personal development kept up to date,

The role is based at our Head office in Letchworth Garden City and will be working on a rotating day shift (Monday to Friday, 6am till 2pm and then 2pm till 10pm the following week).
What will you be doing? As a Manufacturing Technician within Value Added Services, you will perform a variety of different tasks within the department with the aim of delivering excellent customer service, while proactively contributing to Altro’s Zero Harm culture.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Operate CNC cutting machines to process various materials. li>Read and interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and job specifications to set up the machine accordingly.
- Load and unload materials onto the cutting bed, ensuring correct alignment and securing materials.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, blades, and settings based on material type and job requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs to keep the machine in optimal condition.
- Collaborate wider teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in cutting operations.
- Monitor job progress and inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality.
- Report any machine malfunctions, material shortages, or production delays to the supervisor.
- Manufacture transit kits within agreed tolerance levels, in line with customer specifications.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure all cut pieces meet the required accuracy standards.
- Label and package all transit kits in accordance with each customer’s approved packaging specification. < i>Ensure all customer orders are completed and dispatched in line with required delivery dates.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor stock levels of flooring material and liaise with the Transit Customer Service Leader when reordering is necessary.

- Check the quality and condition of equipment used within the Kit Cutting area.
