This is an exciting opportunity to work on the early development of highways technology schemes, helping to shape future infrastructure for one of the UK's most critical transport networks.
You’ll play a vital role in identifying asset needs, developing early-stage solutions, and managing the technical planning and delivery process for improvement and renewal projects across the North West.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the identification and evaluation of highways technology assets and develop needs-based solutions

Prepare technical briefs, value management options, and early-stage plans for renewal or improvement schemes

Monitor delivery of survey and early design works, liaising with internal teams and contractors

About You:

Degree or HND in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

Solid understanding of asset condition assessment and degradation modelling

Experience of cost-benefit analysis or value management processes

Familiarity with budget setting and financial forecasting for scheme development

Knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations and relevant construction methods
