Are you an experienced procurement professional with a passion for IT and indirect services? We’re looking for a dynamic IT/Indirect Procurement Officer to join our team at our modern offices in Thorpe Park, Leeds.

About the Role

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering value across a wide range of third-party contracts, with a strong focus on IT and indirect procurement. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure optimal value for money, minimise risk, and drive continuous improvement across procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source and procure IT and indirect goods/services, ensuring value for money and quality.
  • Lead competitive tendering processes and negotiate commercial and contractual terms.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements across the business.
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve contractual disputes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet procurement needs.
  • Maintain procurement systems and support compliance with company policies.
  • Work alongside HSEQ teams to ensure a safe and high-quality supply chain.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualifications: Minimum CIPS Level 4 (working towards Level 6).
  • Experience: Strong background in IT procurement, ideally within complex or regulated industries such as engineering, infrastructure, or manufacturing.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and e-tendering systems.
  • Knowledge of contract law, cyber security, and data protection.

Additional Information

This role may be subject to Security Clearance in line with government and regulatory requirements.

Advising on public sector tenders and RFP responses
Support drafting, negotiation, and review of technology-related contracts, including software licensing agreements, technology development agreements, and Saa S agreements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, developers, and business stakeholders, to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation in technology transactions and product launches.
Strong understanding of intellectual property laws, data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, EU AI Act and EU Digital Services Act), and relevant technology-related regulations.
Supporting other Legal Team members with large complex commercial contracts

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors degree (or higher) in the relevant subject

Working knowledge of Procurement Act

Job Description

Invenia Group has partnered with a specialist international pharmaceutical company looking to hire a Technology Transfer Manager in the UK for its growing team of experts. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced and rewarding organisation, where you can make a difference within the industry.


Role:

The Technology Transfer Manager is responsible for overseeing the seamless transfer of pharmaceutical products, processes, and technologies from R&D to manufacturing or between manufacturing sites, including from CMOs. This role ensures that all technical, regulatory, operational and quality requirements are met to support successful product launches and lifecycle management.


Skills & Experience Required:

  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical data and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Proficiency in documentation and regulatory submissions.
  • Experience with both UK and International Tech Transfers.
  • Familiarity with QbD (Quality by Design) and PAT (Process Analytical Technology).
  • Knowledge of IP and licensing considerations in Tech Transfer.
